North Dakota reports 27 new COVID-19 cases, no deaths

Prior to this week, the county had yet to confirm two positive cases on the same day, although two presumptive cases were announced May 29.

McHenry County now has had 1,672 cases of COVID-19 and 78 deaths, according to the MCDH. The Virginia Department of Health website now lists a category for cases per 100,000 people in each of the Commonwealth's counties and cities.

None of Lincoln County's cases has been reported hospitalized since its first was announced on March 24, a person who was tested and hospitalized outside the county.

Officials said that people can make coverings at home, but added that "the key thing is it should cover your mouth and nose". If you're yet to purchase a face mask, it might be time to get creative with an old shirt or scarf.

In surrounding areas, Columbia County has three new cases at 352 and 31 deaths, while Lycoming remains with 166 cases and 17 deaths.

That outbreak, which has amassed 132 confirmed cases in workers and close contacts of employees, appears to have been mostly contained by Public Health.

According to the county's weekly recovery and testing update, there have been 6,632 total tests administered in DeKalb County for a positivity rate of 7% to date. Northumberland County has two new cases at 201 and three deaths, and Montour remains with 53 cases. Other nearby localities break down as follows as of Thursday (Giles County -five cases, Floyd County - six cases, Russell County - eight cases, Tazewell County - nine cases, Pulaski County 21 cases, Patrick County 22 cases). The individual was a 61-80-year-old man from Council Bluffs. The number of positive COVID-19 cases in Starke County is holding at 39. He is in isolation.
