Redmi 9A

If the Redmi 9 which starts from RM499 is out of your budget, Xiaomi Malaysia is announcing two more affordable smartphones that promises to offer a big screen and big battery tomorrow. The announcement does not include any specifications but the two phones have been spotted online in a few leaks that hint at some of the internals.

And it is that Xiaomi Philippines has published a catalogue of its terminals where not only does it figure that the Redmi 9A will arrive soon, but it also details some key specifications and an image of the phone appears.

Xiaomi launched the Redmi 9 days ago, leaving the Redmi 9A as the last device to be released within the Redmi 9-series.

In any other case, the Redmi 9C appears to be like like the more highly-priced possibility, seemingly touting an unannounced Helio G35 SoC, 64GB of storage, and a triple rear digital camera (13MP+5MP+2MP).

The brochure reveals the Redmi 9A will have a 6.53-inch HD+ display with a waterdrop notch at the top.

Earlier, it was speculated that the Redmi 9A would launch in July. As the name suggests, the Redmi 9A comes as a successor to the Redmi 8A.

The Redmi 9A is expected to be another entry-level smartphone, powered by the MediaTek Helio G25 chipset with 3GB RAM. As per the post, both the devices will launch on June 30. Reports have also pegged the Redmi 9A to support 10W fast charging. At the time of writing this, we don't have any solid information on the pricing as well as the color variants.
