Samsung may launch Galaxy S20 Lite with the most sought after Galaxy Note series feature

According to a report by ETNews, the company is yet to zero in on a name for the smartphone.

Launching then would mean it's probably not far ahead of the Samsung Galaxy S30, which we're expecting to see in or around February 2021.

According to Korean publication Viva100, Samsung has been working on a low-end variation of the Samsung Galaxy Fold, similar to the Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite and Note 10 Lite, which would expand the market without eating into the sales of the high-end version of the handset. These are watered-down variants that bring the price down to a more palatable level for most customers.

Through the Lite devices, the consumer can experience some aspect of flagship devices while not paying a premium.

He added: "The White House statement that dealt with this issue today, which denied such a meeting, was correct". Trump tweeted that "Nobody's been tougher" on Russian Federation than his administration.

As per the recent report, the Galaxy Fold Lite will launch next year with a price tag of $900. However, the difference between the Galaxy S series and Galaxy Note series has been diminishing with every product cycle and it would not be a surprise if Samsung launches the Galaxy S20 Pen Edition with an S Pen. If there was any device that needed a more affordable variant, it would be the $1,980 Galaxy Fold. However, Samsung has apparently made a decision to postpone its launch to 2021.

While consumers are pretty reluctant to buy the newly-introduced concept of foldable phones, an affordable option might convince some of them to try it out. Since it is a foldable smartphone, the brand cannot compromise with the quality.
