The syndicated talk show has been on the air since 2003.

Part of it has to do with Ellen's show not pulling in the numbers it usually does. Several people have come forward to make claims that the star has been "mean".

Telepictures Television, the production company behind the 62-year-old presenter's namesake show, has responded to a report that the show would be axed due to plummeting ratings, along with alleged accusations that DeGeneres was "mean" and "rude" to colleagues and guests.

Ellen's production company, however, denied these rumours, saying to the New York Post, "Telepictures can confirm it's untrue". TVNewsCheck reports that The Ellen DeGeneres Show's 17th season ratings fell a whopping 14 percent, giving it an ultra low rating of 1.2 and placing behind Dr. Phil.

"Ellen is the one person that I've been assigned to, and I've been assigned to quite a few celebrities, that has never taken the time to say hi to me", he said.

Significantly, the report released Tuesday is only a planning document, containing, literally, thousands of proposals and targets. House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy, R-Calif., dismissed the proposal as a job-killer that would "punish" the American economy.

During the current COVID-19 pandemic Ellen has been forced to broadcast her show remotely from her home. She talked about the incident during an interview with Ellen DeGeneres (R).

The performance marks BENEE's second high-profile U.S. performance in the past several weeks; she also performed on an early June "Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon" episode.

This led comedian Kevin T. Porter to encourage his Twitter followers to share their "insane stories" about Ellen in exchange for a $2 donation to L.A. Food Bank.

While Ellen has not addressed any of the issues and the accusers have failed to give substantial proof to support their claims, the internet immediately jumped on the "hate and cancel culture" against the host. The complaint nearly got her fired from the job. "But it's not a passing thing - the hits just keep coming", said a source.
