The back-to-back birdies put the product of Dundas, Ont., into a tie for third with American Will Gordon at 17 under on Sunday, and two shots back of eventual victor Dustin Johnson.

So when Hughes drained the impressive breaking putt on No. 17 at TPC at River Highlands, the celebration was limited to a couple of quiet fist pumps as he walked over to his caddy.

A pair of bogeys on the back nine and a rain delay were not enough to derail Dustin Johnson, who shot 19 under par to win the Travelers Championship by one stroke in Cromwell, Connecticut.

Just when Johnson looked like he might cruise to victory, he hooked his tee shot out of bounds at the par-5 13th and needed to make a clutch 7-foot putt for bogey.

"Just over the last few weeks I've made too many mistakes, too many bogeys, too many loose shots, and that was sort of what it was this week, as well".

"I am experiencing no issues and feel great physically and was surprised and disappointed to learn of the positive test", Frittelli said, adding that he would undergo a period of self-isolation.

Johnson resisted the urge to play cautiously and hammered his final drive over 350 yards down the fairway, flicked a wedge to the heart of the green and two-putted for the winning par and a one-shot victory over Streelman, with Will Gordon (64) and Mackenzie Hughes (67) sharing third on 17 under. He made the par putt.

Lockdown returns to English city of Leicester
Businesses within the boundary, such as non-essential shops, must remain closed for a further two weeks. This is the first localised lockdown on this scale and undoubtedly there will be issues to iron out.

"The PGA Tour has implemented its response plan in consultation with medical experts, including working with those who may have had close contact with Frittelli". He finished the round with a much straighter 43-foot birdie putt on 18. Playing this week on a sponsor's exemption, Gordon, the 2019 SEC Player of the Year out of Vanderbilt, carded rounds of 66-62-71-64 to open up his playing options for the rest of the summer, as he is now allowed to accept an unlimited number of exemptions through the remainder of the season.

Rory McIlroy's tournament hopes faded on Saturday with a round of 69 and while he improved in his final round, signing for a 67, he lacked consistency throughout the day and a double bogey on the 17th saw him finish in 12th place.

There was Brendon Todd, who began the day with a two-stroke lead, having to endure the dreaded despair of a shanked chip shot that ruined his round. He responded by rolling in a 16-foot birdie at 14, but then he hooked another tee shot at 15 that plugged in damp grass and barely stayed dry.

Four players and two caddies have tested positive for the coronavirus since the Tour returned to competition three weeks ago with tournaments in Fort Worth, Texas; Hilton Head Island, South Carolina; and CT.

A total of four golfers have now tested positive for the virus since the PGA Tour returned to action earlier this month: Frittelli, McCarthy, Champ and Nick Watney.

The 30-year-old South African golfer will now miss the Rocket Mortgage Classic, which gets underway in Detroit on Thursday.
