BioWare releases behind the scenes look at the next Dragon Age

BioWare's intent is to show characters and people "who don't have power", seemingly indicating a shift away from the politics that were a key part of Dragon Age: Inquisition.

Our latest peek of the upcoming Dragon Age 4 reveals the mystery behind it. Plus, as we've seen in the past - Solas aka the Dread Wolf. This is a significant development that is sure to excite fans of the series. However, at Gamescom 2020 Opening Live Event, the team released a new video that packs some WIP in-engine footage from it. It was shown as a documentary-style presentation featuring the top developers behind the art, 3D and background design, voice actors, and other important individuals. The extended trailer featured a variety of BioWare employees talking about the company's design philosophies, showing off concept art, and more. The video did provide a few polished previews of environments though. Such as that Dragon Age 4 teaser which...didn't really say much. The game will be about forming close relationships with a family of characters.

Netflix Launches Making The Witcher
To help alleviate that, the streaming service has dropped a new 32-minute special called Making The Witcher today. Netflix' The Witcher proved far more successful than most people had previously given it credit for.

Don't get any ideas though, it's apparently still in "early development". Don't expect a release date any time soon as Casey Hudson, the big boss man over at Bioware, clarified that Dragon Age 4 was still in "early production".

Of course, this is a Bioware game, so choice is going to be at the heart of it, and we're told that our choices can even decide whether the characters we encounter live or die.
