Mike, on the other hand, said that the duo has given over 20 years to the ATP tour and believes that it's now the right time to walk away and focus on the next chapter of their lives.

One of India's most successful tennis players and former Davis Cup team captain Mahesh Bhupathi congratulated the Bryan Brothers for their brilliant career and even joked that he would have been a lot more successful if not for them.

"We love to play, but we don't love preparing our bodies to go out and compete".

Let us tell you that the California-born Brian brothers had already said that the year 2020 will be their last season on the ATP Tour. We want to quit now that we say goodbye with good tennis, "added Mike".

The US Open is to start on Monday.

The Bryans have won 119 titles in all along with the 2007 Davis Cup and the 2012 London Olympics doubles gold medal for the United States. They finish their well-known careers with a 1,108-359 team win-loss record.

The legendary tennis pair of America's Bob and Mike Bryan bid farewell to the game on Thursday. They have had a career of 30 years in which they had won innumerable matches together.
