Two of the NCAA's "Power Five" conferences - the Big Ten and the Pac-12 - postponed their fall sports seasons, including football, in August.

Which college football teams and conferences have canceled?

After initially stating that their decision was final, Big Ten officials may be reconsidering the postponement.

The Big Ten and first-year commissioner Kevin Warren have faced push back and criticism ever since, including a lawsuit filed by eight Nebraska players who want the decision overturned. However, this lawsuit has no merit and we will defend the decision to protect all student-athletes as we navigate through this global pandemic.

Just Dance 2021 Revealed During Nintendo Direct; Wii Version Dropped
Just Dance 2021 will release November 12 for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X , Nintendo Switch and Google Stadia. For those looking to get straight to playing, the game will have a randomized playlist ready from the Start menu.

And now we have word that the conference might be leaning back into playing the season. The Big Ten decision, the suit continues, will "have a significant, detrimental impact" on the university, its student-athletes and businesses in Lincoln and. The lawsuit mentions how multiple university presidents have publicly said that the council did not take a formal vote.

The lawsuit says the athletes "will be unable to participate in any games, showcase their talent to professional scouts, or effectively develop their brand to set them up to market their name/image/likeness under recent changes in Nebraska law". The tweet came after Yahoo Sports' Pete Thamel and others had reported on the early-stage conversations among Big Ten athletic departments about getting the football season started before 2021 begins.

Attorney Mike Flood, who reps the players, issued a statement saying, "This lawsuit isn't about money or damages, it's about real life relief".

The letter's signers were especially frustrated with the conference's six-day turnaround between releasing its football schedule and postponing fall sports.

Any plan will need the approval of university presidents and chancellors, and the Big Ten will only play if certain benchmarks related to the coronavirus - such as transmission rates, testing capacity and availability, and testing accuracy - are met in each of the 11 states that are home to the league's 14 schools.
