Olympique Lyonnais striker Memphis Depay is one of the favourites of Koeman.

Lyon president Jean-Michel Aulas has poured cold water on Barcelona's move for striker Memphis Depay by claiming that the Catalan club can not afford the Dutchman.

Koeman, who has replaced Quique Setien at Camp Nou, was asked about former Manchester United forward Depay amid talk of a €25million transfer and he told Fox Sports Netherlands: "For Depay to arrive, you must first sell".

Olympique Lyonnais on Tuesday poured cold water on reports that its Dutch global forward Memphis Depay is on the brink of a 30-million euro ($35.54 million) move to Barcelona.

Reports in Spanish media claim that Barcelona may consider a player plus cash deal to secure Depay's services.

UAE and Bahrain sign recognition deals with Israel
UAE Foreign Minister Abdullah bin Zayed al-Nahyan said the agreements marked "a change in the heart of the Middle East". The men then descended a staircase and sat at tables on the lawn to sign statements in English, Arabic and Hebrew.

But that fee may be further cut down to £20m as Barca may offer their 21-year-old fullback Emerson as part of the deal.

So, personal terms between Barcelona and Memphis Depay has already been agreed upon.

While he attempted to remain coy, Planes admitted a deal for a striker was being sought and that the club have the funds to make a move without selling anyone. We always aspire to improve the squad'.

Memphis Depay is not a stranger to Ronald Koeman as he has coached the 26-year-old at the Holland national senior football team.
