Marvel’s Avengers
Each mission in the Reassemble campaign is created to showcase one or more hero's unique abilities, while the Avengers Initiative missions can be played solo with their own custom AI team or with a group of up to four players as any Hero in the player's roster. The game features a story-driven campaign as well as an expansive endgame component called the Avengers Initiative, which includes additional story content after the credits roll for the main game.
Marvel's Avengers is out now, featuring six superheroes to choose from. Luckily, fans looking to upgrade to PlayStation 5 when it arrives will be able to upgrade their game to the version for the next-gen console for free.

Though no further details have been provided on the game, some have speculated that this unannounced game could also be set in the Marvel universe, with the original announcement of the collaboration between Marvel and Square Enix being described as a "multi-year, multi-game" partnership. While each Super Hero plays true to their unique power sets, each has the flexibility to play differently based on the gear players equip and the skills they enable, so no two player's heroes play in exactly the same way. While Marvel's Avengers includes many of these features, the game does not include any PvP modes, and while the title will continue to see content added for the foreseeable future, an entire shift in the game's multiplayer focus post-launch seems unlikely.
