That means, if you want to stream games on your smartphone, you will have to subscribe to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate.

The Redmond giant is going to bundle its cloud game streaming service with Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscriptions.

Microsoft is also experimenting with full touch controls, which you can see in action in Minecraft Dungeons in the video down below, which is ideal if you don't fancy carrying around an entire Xbox controller every time you want to stream games on your phone. It also features multiplayer and cross-play with PC players, if a game supports cross-play between that platform and Xbox One.

It uses the processing capabilities of Microsoft's Azure cloud infrastructure to stream games on devices which don't have the required hardware to run them locally.

The long list of games that are available on xCloud from tomorrow will unfortunately not include EA's Play titles.

And it has three rear cameras: A 64 MP main lens, a 12 MP ultra-wide lenses with big pixels, and a 13 MP ultra-wide lens. The phone will be making its way to Verizon first, but AT&T and T-Mobile plan to sell the phone as well later this year.

xCloud will initially be available in 22 countries - including the US, Canada, UK, South Korea, and several European countries.

Meanwhile, thanks to Apple's App Store policies, the streaming service will only be available on Android phones and tablets.

Apple responded by amending its rules to allow for the services, which permits catalogue-style apps such as Xbox Game Pass, with some major caveats.

Microsoft has so far decided against doing that, calling the move a "bad experience for customers". So it still remains to be seen if Microsoft will be bringing its game streaming service to Apple devices.

The service supports cloud saves, so you can continue a game you've been playing on your Xbox One or Xbox Series X/S when you're on the go.
