"And now I'm only describing the last stage I can remember", he said.

These were the details of the news Navalny posts photo of himself walking for this day.

"Let me tell you about my recovery". "This is already a clear road, albeit not a short one".

The Putin critic said in an Instagram post that he still finds it hard to climb stairs because his "legs tremble" but he is on the path to recovery. However, this seems like "nonsense" against the background of the fact that quite recently he did not recognize those around him, was deprived of the ability to speak. He said in a Saturday post on Instagram that once he was brought out of the coma, he was confused and couldn't find the words to respond to a doctor's questions.

"Now I'm a guy whose legs are shaking when he walks up the stairs, but he thinks: 'Oh, this is a staircase!"

Navalny said in the Instagram update he still could not use his phone and had difficulties trying to pour water into his glass or climbing stairs because his legs trembled.

Trump says his Supreme Court choice will be a woman

Navalny said he can now scroll through social media, thanks to doctors at the hospital in Berlin where he is receiving treatment.

The project has of late landed in critics' crosshairs in connection with an incident involving Russian opposition figure Alexei Navalny, who, as claimed by German labs, was poisoned by a "Novichok-type nerve agent" on 20 August, with several German politicians having since called for a halt to the construction of the pipeline. His supporters suspect Russian President Vladimir Putin was behind the assassination attempt, but Moscow has denied any involvement and has accused Navalny's aides of removing evidence, jeopardizing the official inquiry into the poisoning.

Group of Seven countries are demanding that Russian Federation respond to worldwide appeals for an explanation of the poisoning.

Navalny has not assigned any blame in his messages so far but supporters and some European leaders have said that poisoning with Novichok, a military-grade nerve agent, points to a state-ordered crime.

German chancellor Angela Merkel said the use of the chemical weapon showed the "dangerous" attack on Mr Navalny was attempted murder and the aim was to silence him.

Two independent laboratories in France and Sweden confirmed an earlier German finding that the Russian was poisoned with novichok, which was used in the Salisbury attack on ex-Russian spy Sergei Skripal.
