Netflix To Debut BLACKPINK Documentary in October | Blackpink, Netflix

Global streaming service Netflix announced Wednesday it would premiere "Blackpink: Light Up the Sky", an "all-access" documentary about the South Korean quartet, on October 14.

A documentary on K-pop girl group Blackpink is coming to our area.

The film will lead up to their iconic 2019 Coachella performance.

"The K-pop phenomenon has been sweeping the globe and Blackpink has arguably become the most recognizable and most popular girl group in the world." said Netflix's Adam Del Deo, vice president of documentary features, in a statement. The documentary captures the stories of the 4 BLACKPINK members beginning with their pre-debut days, their rigorous training process, their explosive debut in 2016, as well as the past 4 years so far in their shining career. Netflix then replied to a fan's speculation, "We now don't have any info on when that'll be released".

"We can't wait to share our personal stories with Blinks all over the world through Netflix!".

Music and Korean lovers get ready to space up some time for the upcoming documentary, with the streaming giant all set to drop Blackpink Light up the Sky on 14th October 2020.
