He had his left hand amputated at age 4 because of amniotic band syndrome, a congenital condition.

A fifth-round pick (No. 141) in the 2018 National Football League draft, Griffin overcame having his left hand amputated as a child to make it to the NFL.

Griffin joined his twin brother, Seahawks defensive back Shaquill, in Seattle, where the two spent the last two seasons as part of the same defense.

None of the 19 players waived by Seattle were claimed Sunday, meaning most of that group could be back on the practice squad, including linebacker Shaquem Griffin, and 2020 seventh-round pick tight end Stephen Sullivan.

The review could lead to XR being treated as an organised crime group, sources said, as part of a clampdown on its activities. Ministers were said to be looking into new powers to give police greater scope to intercept demonstrators.

According to Michael-Shawn Dugar, the Seahawks are waiving LB Shaquem Griffin. That includes this year's first-round pick, Jordyn Brooks, who is projected to play behind Wright on the weak side.

Griffin is a candidate for Seattle's practice squad. Seattle also has Cody Barton and Ben Burr-Kirven, third- and fifth-round picks a year ago, respectively.

In his final season at Georgia, Walker started 13 games and recorded 7.5 sacks, 11 tackles for loss, four forced fumbles and 45 total tackles.
