And so is the transfer portal.

McCaffrey announced Wednesday that he will opt out of the 2020 season and seek a transfer from Michigan, Zach Shaw of 247sports.com reports.

A team spokesman declined to confirm McCaffrey's departure, telling MLive that "the decision to play or opt out on the 2020 season is something that we have left up to our student-athletes to communicate".

The Castle Rock, Colorado native will carry two years of eligibility with him to his next school.

She went on to confirm that she did accidentally reveal if she is having a girl or a boy. "I feel good though". I will say I'm probably being punished for talking so much about how great the first two went.

McCaffrey had been competing for the starting job with Joe Milton and Cade McNamara but reportedly fell behind in that competition. The news was first reported by The Athletic's Bruce Feldman.

McCaffrey played in six games in 2018 and seven games in 2019, mainly in a backup role.

McCaffrey, the brother of Carolina Panthers running back Christian McCaffrey, was a four-star recruit in the 2017 class.

Prior to McCaffrey's announcement, Grand Rapids star offensive lineman Jalen Mayfield had opted out of the 2020 season, has had starting wide receiver Nico Collins, who seems headed for the National Football League draft.
