The schedule starts on 26 September with UFC 253 with middleweight champion Israel Adesanya fighting Brazilian challenger Paulo Costa, followed by three UFC Fight Nights on 03, 10 and 17 October. It's an opportunity rarely given to a newcomer and it shows just how high the UFC is on Chandler.

BT Sport has confirmed plans to show all events from "Return to UFC Fight Island" in the United Kingdom and Republic of Ireland. What Chandler's signing means for that fight, and when he'll actually compete for the UFC, remains to be seen.

As part of stringent public health and safety protocols, the UFC Fight Island Safe Zone will only be accessible to UFC athletes and their coaches, UFC staff, event personnel and essential employees necessary to ensure the operational continuity of all Yas Island facilities.

"The Return to UFC Fight Island concept underlines both Abu Dhabi's commitment to global sporting and tourism events as well as the collaborative approach taken by various government departments to ensure the emirate is ready to safely welcome back visitors, business and more major worldwide events across multiple sectors".

Russian Federation seals another deal to supply and test its coronavirus vaccine overseas
This way, the World Health Organization can guarantee a market for vaccines to manufacturers and negotiate a fair price. The FDA has stated its bar for approval is a vaccine that reduces the risk of falling sick with Covid-19 by 50 percent.

His emergence as a free-agent sparked mass speculation over a possible move to the UFC, with the fighter expressing an interest in testing himself, and UFC president Dana White admitting he liked the American powerhouse.

Chandler, who is one of the most decorated fighters in Bellator history, entered free-agency after his knockout win over former UFC lightweight champion Benson Henderson at Bellator 243 on August 7.

White has not yet addressed Ferguson any further.

"We are delighted with the return of UFC events to Abu Dhabi", said HE Ali Hassan Al Shaiba, Executive Director of Tourism and Marketing at DCT Abu Dhabi. But according to Helwani's sources, Poirier declined to take the fight out of issues with pay and also due to his loyalty with Ferguson, who recently went to bat for Poirier when it came to getting a raise on his UFC contract.
