The FIR against Kangana was filed under the 'Sections 44 (Injury), 108 (Abettor), 153 (Wantonly giving provocation with intent to cause riot), 153 (A) (Promoting enmity between different groups on grounds of religion, race, place of birth, residence, language, etc., and doing acts prejudicial to maintenance of harmony), 504 (Intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace) under the Indian Penal Code, 1860 (IPC)'. The petition has now reportedly turned into an FIR after the Bandra Court has ordered the Mumbai Police to file an FIR against the two. "A thorough investigation is necessary by an expert".

Recently, Kangana revealed on social media that she had gained 20 kgs for Thalaivi and that it is time for her to shed the extra kilos as the movie is nearing completion.

She also claimed that late Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput, who was found dead on 14 June in his Mumbai flat, didn't commit suicide but was murdered.

Jaydeo Khule, metropolitan magistrate said in his order: "On prima facie perusal of complaint and submissions..."

Sayyed has allegedly first tried filing a complaint against Kangana and Rangoli in Bandra police station but because they didn't pay cognizance, they couldn't file a complaint.
