John Legend shares touching message to Chrissy Teigen amid pregnancy loss

John Legend has paid a heartfelt tribute to his wife Chrissy Teigen, saying he is "in awe" of the strength she has shown following the loss of their baby. "Love you all so much", she wrote in a caption.

Legend performed a poignant rendition of his song Never Break at the Billboard Music Awards and said on Instagram the ballad was inspired by his wife. "We've experienced the highest highs and lowest lows together", John's original tweet read from Wednesday, Oct. 14 read. "Watching you carry our children has been so moving and humbling".

The star said that he's "in awe" of his wife's strength. What an great present it is to have the ability to bring life to the world. We have experienced the wonder, the energy and pleasure of the present, and today we have deeply sensed its inherent fragility.

"We are quiet but we are okay".

Later in the post, he thanks his fans for their support following the loss of his son and says he has been comforted by the stories of families who have had similar experiences. The couple, who are parents to daughter Luna, 4, and, Miles, 2, announced they were expecting their third child in John's video for "Wild."
