The next stop in terms of software updates is iOS 14.2, which is now in testing and is available today for both developers and public users.

iOS 14.2 is supposed to bring several improvements, including new Emoji 13 smiley faces and support for a Shazam music recognition feature right in the Control Center. While the majority of widgets now available are from Apple's own apps, the feature is open for all developers to add third-party widgets to your homescreen. It is likely that iOS 14.1 will launch to the public next week ahead of the iPhone 12 launch.

With that said, have you all managed to try out iOS 14.1 or 14.2 for yourself?

You heard it right! It took a month for them to test and final the function. Spotify are the latest app jumping on the new feature. Maybe they will make it work in the next update.

Kyrgyzstan president faces pressure to resign amid turmoil
Protesters have taken over government buildings, looting some offices, and the Central Election Commission nullified the election. "I do not want to go down in the history of Kyrgyzstan as a president who allowed bloodshed and shooting on its people".

Specifically, the company has released iOS 14.1 GM and announced that the third beta round for iOS 14.2 is available for developers. Let's find out how to add a Spotify widget to the home screen on iOS 14.

But you do not have to click on Download and Install the update yet.

Step #1: Long press anywhere on the Home Screen until you see the jiggle mode.

Step #3: Look for the Spotify Widget and select it. Tapping the cover will launch Spotify to that release.
