The Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade will air on NBC from 9 a.m.to noon in all US time zones.

The 94 Annual Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade will air nationwide on NBC-TV, Thursday, November 26, 2020 from 9 am to noon, in all time zones.

As BroadwayWorld previously reported, this year's Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade will go virtual, and will be available both online and on television.

As part of Macy's new plan, the number of participants will be reduced by approximately 75%. Additionally, all participants must be at least 18 years old, and "general participants" have been limited to people residing in the NY tri-state area.

In addition to the Broadway show performances, parade viewers will be treated to the Big Apple Circus, the New York Police Department Band, and the West Point Marching Band, as well as performances by Leslie Odom, Jr., Pattie LaBelle and Dolly Parton, among others. The streets near the 34th Street site will be closed to prevent onlookers from congregating.

The traditional 2.5-mile parade will not ensue as the parade shifts to a television-broadcast-only production with staging for Parade elements focused exclusively in and around the Herald Square area of Midtown Manhattan.

Among this year's giant flying attractions are Pikachu from "Pokémon", Smokey Bear, SpongeBob SquarePants, the Nutcracker and, of course, Charlie Brown's loyal pup, Snoopy.
