The site, which takes pre-registrations for upcoming mobile games, has reportedly registered over 200,000 pre-registrations for PUBG Mobile India already.
PUBG Corporation along with its parent company KRAFTON announced it will invest $100 million in India to promote local video games, esports, entertainment and IT industries.
There are few details about the game, one of them being that it will arrive under a new moniker, "PUBG Mobile India".
Last week, PUBG Corporation announced PUBG Mobile's return to India. Both games are under development and said to be released soon. It was earlier reported that the existing gamer IDs that users had for PUBG Mobile before it was banned, will be carried forward for PUBG Mobile India as well.
The government of India banned the battle royale game in September this year alongside hundreds of other Chinese applications. This move will further erode the Chinese presence after PUBG revoked the Indian franchisee of PUBG Mobile from Chinese Tencent Games.

The death toll due to viral infection in the national capital reached 8,041 after 98 deaths were reported in the last 24 hours. However, infections are rising rapidly in states like Tamil Nadu , Uttar Pradesh and West Bengal.
To assuage privacy and data security concerns, PUBG said it will conduct regular audits and verifications on the storage systems holding Indian users' personally identifiable information to reinforce security and ensure that their data is safely managed. However, the main reason why PUBG has not yet made an official announcement is because the Indian Government is yet to come out with their official stance on the Relaunch of the PUBG Mobile after the "unban" decision.
Indian PUBG Mobile pro player Ghatak from TSM Entity posted a tweet claiming that the Indian Version PUBG Mobile tournament will feature a massive price pool or more than Rs 6 crores. Just two weeks after that, the company announced it will launch "PUBG Mobile India".
PUBG Corp also says that in the new PUBG Mobile India game, in-game content will be improved and tailored to reflect local needs.
Various aspects of the game will be customized for Indian gamers, such as the game now being set in a virtual simulation training ground, new characters automatically starting clothed, and green hit effects to reflect the virtual nature of the game.
PUBG Corp will also be establishing an India subsidiary and will hire over 100 employees specialising in business, esports, and game development.
