Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip

On November 20, Queen Elizabeth II of Great Britain and Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh celebrate their 73rd wedding anniversary.

Like leaders around the world, the Queen always chooses her brooches wisely, with thought far beyond whether or not it matches a particular outfit. Seven-year-old Prince George, five-year-old Princess Charlotte and two-year-old Prince Louis decorated the cover with big numbers - 73.

Elizabeth was only 21 when she married Royal Navy Lt. Philip Mountbatten at Westminster Abbey on November 20, 1947.

The royals have marked the occasion by releasing a photograph of them reading a card made by their great-grandchildren, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis, The Guardian reports.

Serbian Orthodox Church Patriarch Dies From COVID-19
Irinej, however, was among the rare Serbian church dignitaries who openly called for improved ties with the Roman Catholic Church. Orthodox believers, respecting epidemiological measures, pay their respects to the deceased head of the Serbian Orthodox Church.

While Queen Elizabeth continues to carry out her duties, Prince Philip, 99, has retired from public life.

A closer look at the card was shared by the Kensington Palace Instagram account, which is the official Instagram account of Prince William and wife Kate.

Fast-forward to 2020 and the couple's relationship marks the longest of any British sovereign, while they are also parents to four children: Prince Charles, Prince Andrew, Princess Anne and Prince Edward. The royal couple had spent their honeymoon at Broadlands in Hampshire. Following the United Kingdom's second national lockdown due to a surge in coronavirus cases, the monarch and her husband have been safely residing in Windsor Castle.

The Queen is seen in a powder blue dress by Stewart Parvin accessorised with a pearl necklace and a brooch, while Prince Philip opted for a blue suit and a pair of grey pants, paired with a white shirt and striped blue tie.
