The Dallas Mavericks are acquiring Josh Richardson and the 36th pick in Wednesday's draft from the Philadelphia 76ers for Seth Curry, according to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.

The Philadelphia 76ers acquired a historically elite 3-point shooter who happens to be married to the coach's daughter, completing a draft-night trade that sent shooting guard Josh Richardson and the No. 36 pick in Wednesday's National Basketball Association draft to the Dallas Mavericks for Seth Curry. They were swept in the first round of the playoffs by the Boston Celtics 4-0.

The Sixers, of course, add one of the league's elite deep threats in Seth Curry. Their big move so far has been sending out big man Al Horford and picks for Danny Green and Terrance Ferguson.

South Australia to exit lockdown early from tomorrow
South Australia will revert to a series of similar restrictions imposed at the beginning of the week from midnight on Saturday. Masks will be mandatory for personal-care providers such as hairdressers and beauty therapists (and encouraged for clients).

Well, Seth Curry is about to find out. Richardson was a key player for Philadelphia last season with averages of 13.7 points, 3.2 rebounds and 2.9 assists in 30.8 minutes per game. Green was much-maligned in his lone season with the Los Angeles Lakers, but is only a year removed from shooting 45.5 percent for the Toronto Raptors. Josh Richardson was an important role player for the 76ers who was a great support for Philadelphia's All-Stars, Ben Simmons and Joel Embiid.

The Mavs sorely need a reliable 3-and-D guy that will complement Luka Doncic, and Josh Richardson certainly fits that criteria.
