A company is recalling some of its baby spinach products over salmonella contamination concerns, according to a recall notice posted to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration's (FDA) website over the weekend.

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency says the products in question were sold in stores across Ontario up to and including November 27.

The following products have been sold in Ontario, Quebec, and New Brunswick and may have been distributed in other Atlantic provinces.

Consumers should not consume the recalled products.

If you think you became sick from consuming a recalled product, call your doctor.

For now, there has been no official statement from either PCB (Pakistan Cricket Board) or Azam regarding the matter. Seven members of the team have tested positive for Covid-19 and have been moved to a separate floor.

"Food contaminated with Salmonella may not look or smell spoiled but can still make you sick", reads the CFIA alert.

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency published an advisory on November 26, warning the public to throw out this product or return it to the store where it was purchased.

The agency says products with the expiry dates of December 18, Dec. 22, December 24, Dec. 26, December 30, and January 1, 2021 are included in the recalls. While most healthy people who ingest the bacteria will experience fever, diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, and abdominal pain, for those who are more vulnerable-specifically young children, the elderly, and those with otherwise compromised immune systems-the resulting infections can be far more serious, and even fatal. Long-term complications may include severe arthritis.

This recall was triggered by the company.
