However, next month, things are going to get even more exciting for Foo Fighters.

While gearing up for the release of their tenth studio album Medicine At Midnight on February 5th, Foo Fighters have shared a new single "Waiting On A War". The band's guitarist, Dave Grohl has said that this song is for his daughter Harper.

He added, "As a child growing up in the suburbs of Washington DC, I was always afraid of war. My youth was spent under the dark cloud of a hopeless future", the singer wrote. The song, which is available for streaming and download now via digital outlets, is a heartfelt one for Grohl, as it written after he had an important conversation with his daughter, Harper.

No strangers to creating the ideal build up of energy in a song, Foo Fighters have delivered the goods with "Waiting On A War". Grohl asked rhetorically. "Because I need more".

Much more excitingly for those of us who use chemicals to dampen our feelings, the band is also getting ready to release a collaboration with the sake-maker Tatenokawa, dubbed "HANSHO (Midnight)".

"It's filled with anthemic, huge, sing-along rock songs", he said.

The release of "Waiting on a War" coincides with Grohl's 52nd birthday. The Nirvana drummer and Foo Fighters frontman officially turned 52 years old this year.

Per The New York Times, Foo Fighters were just announced in a new batch of musicians taking part in Celebrating America, a live 90-minute special airing the evening of the inauguration of President-elect Joe Biden. Which song off of Medicine At Midnight has been your favorite so far?
