A Celestial Trio Looking up at the Night Sky
The "star", which is really created by the alignment of Jupiter and Saturn, had not been seen in about 800 years.
On Jan. 9 shortly after sunset, above the southwestern horizon will be Mercury - the Solar System's innermost planet - will form a "triple conjunction" with Saturn and Jupiter.
11, three planets - Jupiter, Mercury and Saturn - will appear to form a small triangle in the early night sky, according to Forbes. Mercury will move past Saturn and then Jupiter stating Friday and into Monday evening, NASA reported. It will be visible each evening low in the west, southwest sky before evening twilight ends.
By Jan. 13, stargazers could be able to see the waxing crescent moon, Saturn, Jupiter and Mercury all in the sky, according to NASA.
This star show will appear the closest together next Sunday evening, January 10th.

"It was a spectacular sight as both planets [Jupiter and Saturn] appeared in the same field of view of telescopes and binoculars, but in reality it was little more than a line-of-sight trick of perspective, since the two planets remained about 456 million of miles apart", wrote Jamie Carter of Forbes, referencing last month's great conjunction.
Though the three planets seem to be bumping elbows, they are still taking social-distancing guidelines to the extreme.
Spectators should find an unobstructed view of the horizon and begin gazing at the stars no later than 45 minutes after sunset.
They will form this "triple conjunction" again on February 13.
