It was yesterday revealed there are no CCTV cameras on level 7 of the hotel, which is where all people who have since tested positive - including the woman and her father - had stayed.

Queensland Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk has now proposed a national network of outback quarantine camps to protect Australians from the United Kingdom variant.

However, the newspaper said she was left unattended at the hospital and travelled back to the hotel in a taxi or rideshare.

9News understands Queensland Health's investigations come as Chief Health Officer Jeannette Young said she could not guarantee all guests remained in their rooms during the 14-day period, as required by Queensland Health's hotel quarantine protocol.

"We're going to do some further work over the next 24 hours, and police will continue their investigation, and we'll be able to work out what we need to do going forward relating to that hotel".

'Good news' is UK COVID-19 variant in Brisbane hasn't been as bad as expected: Infectious Diseases Physician Peter Collignon says the "good news" about the UK variant of COVID-19 in Brisbane is the fact there hasn't been many cases so far.

He tested negative while in hotel quarantine and was released but then returned a positive test when recently returning to work.

She said the Cairns case was a man in his 40s who went through hotel quarantine and tested negative after returning to Australia from the Congo in September.

Dr Young said he's asymptomatic and likely shedding the virus, which will explain traces of COVID-19 turning up wastewater in the area over the past few months.

The pair have brought the Grand Chancellor Hotel cluster to six cases.

She said three of the six infected people had been interviewed.

As a result, commissioner Carroll said a major overhaul was required.

She was also indicted on charges of accepting monthly funds from her spy chiefs that were diverted out of the agency's budget. Park is the daughter of a military dictator and was elected in 2013 as the first woman to be President of South Korea.

"If we find there is any gap in that whole process, we [will] make sure we put CCTV footage into those hotels".

QUEENSLAND has recorded three new cases of COVID-19 but Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk is confident they are of no concern and not linked to the small cluster at a Brisbane hotel.

"I can tell you from extensive independent inquiries that the daughter was wearing full PPE at all times", she said.

When an ambulance arrived at the hotel to collect her father, the woman got in and accompanied him to Royal Brisbane Hospital, The Courier Mail reports.

Dr Young said she is "getting comfortable" we had avoided a feared outbreak in Logan - after the cleaner was infectious in the community for five days.

"Now, his English is not great, so the daughter went with him, but she was treated as if she was positive, so they were managed in negative pressure rooms etc etc".

"They are treated as if they are positive", she said.

Dr Young said the ambulance officers who transported the pair were not in quarantine because they were wearing correct PPE and there were no breaches.

The Courier-Mail can reveal contract tracing is underway after an ambulance was called to the hotel for the woman's father on Monday night following a medical complaint, that saw the daughter also leave the quarantine hotel and visit the hospital despite requiring no medical attention.

"He was taken there because he had some health issues, which were probably early symptoms of his COVID, in retrospect", she said.

"Guests were transported from and returned to the hotel by Qld Ambulance Service while in appropriate PPE", the spokesperson said in a statement.
