FREDERICK, Md. (AP) - A shooting at a Maryland Business park Tuesday left two people critically injured and the suspect dead, police said, while the U.S. Navy reported an "active shooter incident" at Fort Detrick involving sailors. He added that it was not clear yet who killed the suspect.

"Currently there are two victims and one suspect is down", the Frederick Police Department said on Twitter. The police department said on Facebook on Tuesday morning that "the suspect is down".

Mr Lando said: "We have two different scenes".

Tommy Lamkin, a spokesman for the Naval Medical Research Center at Fort Detrick, confirmed that the shooting involved at least two Navy medical personnel. The shooter, a Navy Hospital Corpsman, is deceased.

Just after 9am, Frederick police tweeted: 'We are on scene responding to an active shooter in the 8400 block of Progress Drive'. "We will continue to update with additional details as the situation evolves".

Police haven't named the business where the shooting took place.

Fort Detrick is located approximately 50 minutes from Washington, D.C.
