Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk said 10 cases were recorded state-wide overnight, but all but one of them were found in hotel quarantine.

Despite the lifting of lockdown, the Queensland premeir said some restrictions will remain in the state, such as the carrying of a mask by Queenslanders leaving their homes until 15 April.

The missing link is a nurse who worked at the Princess Alexandra Hospital.

However, Bluesfest, a major music festival in Byron Bay, was cancelled just hours ahead of its planned start Thursday after a positive case linked to the Brisbane outbreak was recorded in the New South Wales coastal town.

Most cases are now in Brisbane or regional hospitals, including on the Gold Coast, at Toowoomba, and Bundaberg.

However, it excluded primary close contacts linked to NSW and Queensland exposure sites, who must continue their self-isolation for 14 days since their exposure.

The following locations have been listed by Queensland Health as casual contacts.

Private gatherings are restricted to 30 people.

As Greater Brisbane residents scramble to revive their plans for the weekend, health authorities are urging people to be cautious.
