United Kingdom media reports say British Prime Minister Boris Johnson has Wednesday.

The wedding was held in front of close friends and family on Saturday, according to several newspapers.

The ceremony makes Johnson the first prime minister to get married while in office in roughly 200 years, The Telegraph noted.

Lord Geidt, the new adviser on ministerial standards, released his first report on ministers' interests on Friday, after months of delay. The priest had baptised Wilfred a year ago.

Weddings in England are now limited to 30 people due to COVID-19 restrictions.

The wedding ceremony was reportedly carried out at the Catholic cathedral by Father Daniel Humphreys.

However, The Sun tabloid said the couple had been planning the "cloak and danger operation" for a secret ceremony for up to six months.

Ms Symonds, 33, who wore a white dress to exchange vows with the prime minister, is reported to have arrived in a limo about half an hour later.

All non-essential retail will close but essential stores including supermarkets, bottle shops, and pharmacies will remain open. These fears were realised today when Victoria recorded a dozen more COVID-19 cases overnight, taking the cluster to 26.

There were no descriptions of Johnson's attire, with the mop-haired British leader infamous for his often dishevelled appearance.

According to the Sun, even senior Downing Street aides were unaware the couple had tied the knot.

He had four children with his previous wife, lawyer Marina Wheeler, before they split in 2018.

Mr Cummings also claimed that in February 2020, when the pandemic was becoming a major global crisis, Mr Johnson was "distracted by finalising his divorce, his girlfriend wanted to announce being pregnant and an engagement, and his finances".

The report said Mr Johnson had been let down by "significant failings" from officials who should have done more to check whether establishing a trust to pay for the refurbishment was a good idea.

The PM can use an annual public grant of up to £30,000 to decorate his Downing Street home, but it has been reported the renovations at No 11, where Mr Johnson lives with his fiancee Carrie Symonds, reached up to £200,000.

The couple have been in the spotlight in recent weeks amid a scandal over the costly redecoration of their Downing Street flat, which is being probed by watchdogs over allegations that contributions by a Tory party donor were not declared fully.
