Two of the housemates have since tested positive - a roommate and a house guest from Canberra.

After a routine weekly PCR test required of all hotel quarantine workers on Friday, he received a positive result on Saturday morning, prompting him and his seven housemates to be moved into hotel quarantine.

The most notable breach of hotel quarantine was in Victoria with a second wave sparking an extensive 112-day lockdown which resulted in around 800 deaths.
