Three gunmen opened fire on a crowd of people at a banquet hall, killing at least two and wounding about 25, according to reports.

The shooting happened at a banquet hall in Hialeah, Florida that was rented out for a concert Saturday night.

Two people were shot dead at the scene, and between 20-25 people were wounded. The non-profit organization Gun Violence Archive reported that there were 200 mass shootings in the United States in the first 132 days of the year.

"These are cold-blooded killers who fired indiscriminately into a crowd", he said, stressing, "We will do justice".

Angelica Green told reporters at the scene that her son and nephew, both 24, were among those wounded. It also said said police had no one in custody as of early Sunday. "They say that some guys came out with hoodies and ski masks and just started spraying at the crowd", she said, adding that it was "very scary".

Investigators were hunting for the suspects who returned to their vehicle and fled the scene after the incident, police added.
