The bear was about to step into her backyard and there was a possibility that this could mean danger for her family dogs, who were barking to raise alarm as it tried to intrude on the property. One of the larger dogs runs up to the bear and is struck in the face several times by the larger animal. I just pushed her enough to make her lose her balance, so she dropped my dog and I ran out of there.

A viral video shows a woman's encounter to protect her dogs.

Another said: "She's a true hero".

'She's a insane courageous 17 year old!' "How was your Memorial Day?!".

"The bear was protecting her cubs, she was reacting to protect her cubs and the dogs of course were reacting to protect their territory", she said.

Hailey Morinico didn't hesitate when she saw a large bear facing off with her family dogs from the top of a wall in their Southern California backyard.

Aus PM vows lockdown support for 2nd-most populous state
Victoria will go to into lockdown from 11.59 tonight (local time) for a week as a result of Melbourne's Covid-19 cluster. It is unclear how exactly the virus got from Case A to this man, but he went on to infect at least 14 others.

Morinico's cousin posted a video of the teen's heroic act Monday to TikTok, and it has since been viewed more than 44 million times. (The cubs, frightened by the loud barking, had already high-tailed it away from the scene.) Morinico then scooped up one of the smaller dogs, and she and the pets all ran in the opposite direction. A post sharing the video on Reddit has received over 10,000 votes and 3,000 comments in six hours. A few dogs won't be able to take down a adult bear, especially one will cubs! The bear then turned its attention to one of the smaller dogs and had nearly picked it up when the teen, named Hailey, rushed out to save it.

"So, I go over to the bear, and I look it in the eyes", she says.

The video attracted thousands of comments, with some people praising the woman while others pointing out that the bear was just trying to defend its babies. "I have to protect the baby". "I just happened to come out unscathed".

Then, Hailey comes running into the frame and pushes the bear off the fence. To be honest, I don't think I pushed her that hard.

The fearless teen suffered "a sprained finger and scraped her knee" but the family is glad that's the only injury.
